Shahar Madjar , MD , MBA, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology at the Urology Department, State University of NY. He is the director of the Section of Female Urology and Urodynamics. Dr Madjar is fellowship-trained in Female Urology and Urogynecology and has completed fellowship programs at the Section of Female Urology and Urodynamics at the University of Miami and at the Section of Female Urology and Voiding dysfunction at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr Madjar is the author of numerous publications, literature reviews and book chapters and the author of 2 books. Dr Madjar was deeply involved in the research and development and in clinical trials of several devices for the treatment of women and men with urinary incontinence and bladder control problems. He earned an MBA degree at Marquette University and is interested in clinical as well as in business aspects of medicine, pharmaceutical and device research and development.
